I'll dominate 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually happening.
